After hearing District Engineer Rick Schappacher a few months ago discuss a survey that reflected nearly a million dollars in necessary roadwork, Heritage Harbour South Community Development District supervisors are mulling over options for how much the community can afford to complete right now.

At its meeting at 4 p.m. tonight, the supervisors will discuss three projects for which they have received bids: a section of westbound Stone Harbour Loop; eastbound Camden Harbour Loop at Heritage Isles Way intersection; and Heritage Isles Way, north of Quail Greens Way.

The CDD has received bids for the projects, with costs ranging from $999 to $13, 350 contingent on the type of asphalt and vendor chosen.

Supervisors plan to use dollars from their capital funds allotment to cover the projects, which are part of a multi-year phased project to fix the cracks in the asphalt and other damages that could lead to potholes and other more serious damages to the roads.

The supervisors will also discuss the 2015-2016 fiscal year draft, and plan to set a date for the public to review and comment on the proposal.

The CDD will meet at the Stoneybrook Golf Club, 8000 Stone Harbour Loop, Bradenton.
