Ranch to host meeting for nonprofit funding

To help not-for-profit groups interested in applying for the Manatee County Human Services grant, Community Services Department representatives will host a funding application orientation at 8:30 a.m. Jan. 16, at United Way McClure Center, 4215 Concept Court, Lakewood Ranch.

Human Services grants benefit in-need children and families through the nonprofit organizations that serve in their communities.

The representatives will break down the application process for interested parties. The application period will also be announced at the meeting.

Applicants must be recognized 501 (c) (3) nonprofit agencies.
