FRIDAY, FEB. 6

  • Local Evolution Craft Markettakes place at 5 p.m. at Darwin Brewing Company, Bradenton. Free. Local beer and local crafts are the focus of this recurring event and collaboration between Geraldson Community Farm and Darwin Brewing Company. Meet your local farmers and artisans and enjoy freshly prepared food, local music and craft beer in a beautiful brewery setting. Dogs welcome.
  • Circus Sarasota presents: Fearlesstakes place at 7 p.m. at Nathan Benderson North Park at the Mall at UTC. $10 - $32. Enjoy the performance as Circus Sarasota kicks off its new season in its new location at the new Mall at UTC. This winter performance will feature the king of the high wire, Nik Wallenda. Season continues through Feb. 22.

SATURDAY, FEB.  7

  • Bradenton Area Riverwalk Regattatakes place from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Bradenton Riverwalk. Free.  This first annual event, organized through Bradenton's sister-city relationship with Pittsburgh, features Powerboat Superleague Racing, hydro-cross jet skis, live music, BMX performances, food, a 5k and fun run and a special kids' zone. 
  • Sarasota Greek Fest takes place from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday to Sunday at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church. $4. Free for children younger than 12. Experience the tastes, smells, sounds and traditions of Greek culture at this annual festival. Enjoy authentic Greek food, beverages, live music, a marketplace and more.

SUNDAY, FEB. 8

  • Patti B. Celebration of Life takes place at noon at Ace's Live Music, Bradenton. Free. Celebrate the life and music of area musician, Patti B. with live music and friends. Entertainers include: Jami Gee, Karen Klarich with Concrete Edgar, Mad Beach Mafia, Scott Pritchard's Garage, Mindy Simmons, Lisa Larkin and Mikey, Mark Skey, Mitch Clark, Waking Giants, Soul Purpose with Annalise O'Brien, Steve Arvey and Rebecca Bird with Chris Dallenbach and the Tucci Band. An open jam will start at 8:45 p.m.
