Galleries dedicated to text in art, artist Scott Bell and an open, juried exhibition opened and runs through Sept. 30

Artists and art enthusiasts enjoyed the diverse offerings on hand at the Art Center Sarasota on Thursday, August 27, during its last scheduled exhibition of the 2014-2015 season. The open competition and juried exhibit includes work by Betty Isermann, Joseph Melançon, Janet Mishner, Dirce Kennedy and Hili Puro.
