Promenade condo tops sales at $1,275,000

A condominium in The Promenade tops all transactions in this week’s real estate

The following residential real estate transactions took place between July 20 and July 24. A condominium in The Promenade tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Charles Greenhouse, trustee, of Westchester, N.Y., sold the Unit 112 condominium at 1211 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Michael Sherrow and Ellen Leef-Sherrow, of Longboat Key, for $1,275,000. Built in 1985, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,273 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $610,000 in 1995.

Sands Point
Elizabeth Weil, of Lafayette, Calif., sold her Unit 214 condominium at 100 Sands Point Road to East West beach Properties LLC for $1.2 million. Built in 1966, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,432 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $266,000 in 1983.

Bird Key
William Hadley and Janet Anderson, of Sarasota, sold their home at 398 Bobwhite Drive to Joseph Peixoto and Janis Peixoto, trustees, of Oxnard, Calif., for $1,149,000. Built in 1968, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,985 square feet of living area. 

Dream Island
Winston and Evelyn Register sold their home at 751 Emerald Harbor Drive to Joseph and Margaret Langteau, of Longboat Key, for $775,000. Built in 1971, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,704 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $325,000 in 1997.

Sea Gate Club
Fernando and Columba Masci, of Hampton, N.Y., sold their Unit 12-A condominium at 2425 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Richard and Susan Pasternak, of New York City, for $710,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,513 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $285,000 in 1997.

Beachplace
Ralph and Marguerite Fletcher, of Lakeland, sold their Unit 402 condominium at 1075 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Jorge and Karen Gonzalez, of Lakeland, for $635,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,392 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $510,000 in 2002.

Key Towers South
Barry and Cheryl Ewoldt, of Traer, Iowa, sold their Unit 8E condominium at 1750 Benjamin Franklin Drive to John and Amy Ryder, of Van Wert, Ohio, for $500,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,403 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $475,000 in 2013.

Bay Harbour Apartments
John and Amy Ryder, of Van Wert, Ohio, sold their Unit 203 condominium at 448 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Michael and Robin Mazzone, of Park City, Utah, for $390,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,194 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $320,000 in 2009.

Windward Bay
Richard and Ellen Tosi, of Spring Lake, N.J., sold their Unit 202 condominium at 4600 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Suzanne Brenner, of Longboat Key, for $375,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,096 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $500,000 in 2005.

Privateer South
Edward and Pamela Levine, of Manlius, N.Y., sold their Unit 605 condominium at 1000 Longboat Club Road to Pamela Levine, of Manlius, N.Y., for $295,200. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,290 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $649,000 in 2005.

Cedars East
David Taylor, of Chicago, sold his Unit 25 condominium at 653 Cedars Court to Stephen and Alissa Mote, of Gibsonia, Pa., for $225,000. Built in 1988, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,440 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $320,000 in 2004.
