First Presbyterian fundraiser puts down roots

Parents, families support annual preschool fundraiser First Roots

Parents and friends of the First Presbyterian Preschool enjoyed an evening out for the annual fundraiser First Roots at Michael’s Wine Cellar.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward maintaining the school and student scholarships. Along with a silent auction, parents were able to purchase a paper butterfly that will be posted on the giving tree poster that will be on display at the upcoming Butterfly Ball May 15. Each butterfly had a message for students from their families. Funds from the butterfly purchase will be used to help purchase a laminator for the preschool.
