Thirty-five golfers brought their best clubs forward at the Bill Sondey Memorial Golf Tournament.

The Bill Sondey Memorial Golf Tournament, held April 18 at the River Club Golf Course, raised funds for Braden River High School’s Booster Club, while also commemorating Bill Sondey, a former Booster Club member who died a few years ago. Prizes for winners included restaurant gift cards and packages to golf at one of a range of local golf courses. The event generated $3,150 for the school’s Booster Club and Braden River High’s band programs.
Kim Sondey and her late husband, Bill, created an annual golf tournament to raise funds for Braden River High about seven years ago. After Sondey died, the tournament’s name changed to honor the former Booster member.
