To raise dollars for Braden River Elementary School’s basic supply needs, such as batteries and making copies, parents united to create an inaugural Golf Tournament, held April 18, at the Links at Greenfield Plantation. Forty golfers participated in the tournament, which spanned 18 holes. Attendees wore dresses while golfing at hole No. 2, and participated in other activities along the course.
Larry Hayden has been golfing for more than 18 years.
