Riders fight diabetes

The American Diabetes Association hosted its Tour de Cure Lakewood Ranch Sunday.

Hundreds of cyclists turned out in the fight against diabetes Sunday during the American Diabetes Association’s Tour de Cure event on Lakewood Ranch Main Street. Participants rode in their choice of a 100-, 62-, 35- or 10-mile fundraising ride through Lakewood Ranch and the surrounding area.
