The Community Youth Development celebrated Family Day on Monday night and invited families to a Family Fun Night at multiple locations throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties. One event took place at the Lee Wetherington Boys and Girls on Fruitville Road.
The goal for the evening was to give parents and children a chance to sit down and enjoy each other’s company. A barbeque chicken Dinner was provided by Sundance Catering & Events and board games were available for families to play. Among the options for games were standards like Scrabble, Yahtzee and Clue.
