McNeal Elementary students 'Feed the Frog' for charity

Students at McNeal Elementary have their sights set on helping an East County-based organization.

Since starting a fundraising effort for The Payton Wright Foundation earlier this month, the children have hastily worked to collect dollars for their "Hop to it... Feed the Frog" campaign.

Participants put spare change into frog-shaped containers placed throughout the school's campus, and have documented the money raised on a chart.

To date, the children have raised $2,095.03 to benefit the foundation, which helps families with children suffering from brain cancer.
