Melissa Smith came to the Brides Across America Event with her fiancé Eric Irwin. Irwin has done four tours, three in Afghanistan and one in Iraq.
Ladies wait to be let in to Sarasota Brides and Formalwear Monday, July 16, to find their wedding gown.
Lauren Russell came to find a dress with her mom Sherry Pourrokny. Russell will marry October 19, 2013.
Jennifer Nickel and Sarah Winn came to look for their wedding dresses with Holly Winn. Nickel will be married August 24, 2014 and Winn will have her reception February 2014.
Gladys Streeter helped her daughter Mariah look for a dress with Merdine Cormeill and Heather Streeter. Mariah Streeter will marry April 26, 2014. Her army fiancé is currently stationed in Missouri and has been to Iraq.
Evelyn and Stacey Mora help their mother Diane Cruz look for a dress with their grandmother Guadalupe Cruz and aunt Estefany Cruz. Diane Cruz will be married to her Marine fiancé March 1, 2014.
Emily Otero found her perfect dress at Sarasota Brides and Formalwear at the Brides Across America event. Her fiancé is currently in Afghanistan and they will get married in March 2014. The dress she chose was the first wedding dress she ever tried on.
Charlie and Peggy Weniger came to help their daughter Lt. Kari Weniger of the Navy find a wedding dress. Cousins Chloe, Bryn and Amelia Austin also helped. Weniger met her fiancé, who is also in the Navy, in Bahrain.
Mariah Streeter was not happy with the first gown she tried on.
