Authorities seeking info on hit and run

The Florida Highway Patrol is seeking information about a hit-and-run crash in the parking lot of an East County restaurant May 14.

An FHP report states the unknown vehicle was backing westbound and struck an unattended, properly-parked Chevrolet Avalanche in the parking lot of the Geckos restaurant in Twelve Oaks Plaza.

The Avalanche sustained about $500 in damages to the right rear side.

The vehicle that backed into the Chevrolet is described as a blue/gray sedan driven by an elderly white female. Anyone with information about the incident should contact the Florida Highway Patrol at 239-938-1800.
