U.S. 301

From Myrtle Street to DeSoto Road
Construction — Contractor will do general cleanup and repairs on both sides of the roadway. Expect intermittent lane closures during daylight hours while crews are working. CONTINUING
Interstate 75

From north of North River Road to north of state Road 681.
Construction — Temporary nighttime lane closures from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Nov. 28 to Dec. 3. This project is anticipated for completion in the summer of 2012. U.S. 301
From 5th Street to 7th Street
Maintenance — Northbound lane closure on Washington Blvd. from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today through Dec. 1. The sidewalk will also be closed.

U.S. 41
Over North Creek
Maintenance — Project consists of placing rip-rap in the channel. This expected to finish Jan. 28, 2012. For additional information, contact the Public Information Officer, Audrey Clarke, 941-730-1481.

State Road 789
At Ringling Bridge
Bridge maintenance project — There will be no lane closures. Maintenance will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through December.

Over Coon Key Waterway
Maintenance — Project consists of placing rip-rap at various pier locations. Work is expected to finish Jan. 28, 2012. For additional information, contact the Public Information Officer, Audrey Clarke, 941-730-1481.

State Road 758
From U.S. 41 to Beneva Road
Maintenance — Intermittent eastbound lane closures from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Work is expected to finish Jan. 6, 2012. 

State Road 72
Replacement of the bridge over Myakka River
Construction — Construction within the boundaries of Myakka River State Park. Single lane closures and minor delays during daylight hours. No weekend work. The project completion is estimated for summer 2012. The contractor is Kelly Brothers Construction Inc.

From West of Proctor Road to Saddle Creek Trail
Construction — Expect single lane closures between 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The contractor is Ajax Paving industries. Work is expected to be completed spring, 2012.

State Road 681
Over U.S. 41
Bridge maintenance – Project expected to start soon. Lane closures once crews begin working.
