Every year as part of the ceremony, the school hangs two flags, each inscribed with the names of soldiers who died in the Korean War.
Manatee County Commissioner Larry Bustle and Schools Superintendent Tim McGonegal said the Pledge of Allegiance.
The name of veteran Ashby Morris, pictured with his granddaughter Julie Stanton and great-grandson, Justin Stanton, was included in this year's Wall of Honor panel.
