UPDATE: U.S. 301 lanes reopen

According to the Florida Department of Transportation, lanes of U.S. 301 between Myrtle Street and DeSoto Road are now open after being closed due to downed power lines. 

Law enforcement is currently directing traffic. Crews are working on repairing a traffic signal and it should be working by 8:00 p.m.
