WEEKEND BEST BET: St. Armands Winter Art Festival

This weekend will be a good one for crafty shoppers.

The St. Armands Winter Art Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 29, and Sunday, Jan. 30, on St. Armands Circle.

The art show is consistently ranked in the top 100 festivals in the country by “Sunshine Artist.” More than 250 artists and craftsmen will participate.

“There is something for everyone,” said festival promoter Howard Alan in a prepared statement. “We make sure to have a wide variety of artwork that appeals to many different tastes and with prices ranging from as little as $25 hand-designed earrings to $20,000 metal sculptures.”
