The term “eating contests” brings to mind large amounts of meat being shoveled into one’s mouth as fast as possible. On Saturday, Veg restaurant, in Gulf Gate, held its own eating contest with a healthier twist — veggie burgers. Veg owners, Marty and Maggie Glucklich, held the veggie-burger eating contest to celebrate the first anniversary of their restaurant.
