Sarasota County named a 'Best Community for Young People'

Jillian Wagner, Michelle Monasterios and Kayla Arroliga were some of the girls from Girls, Inc. who helped cater the event.
Victoria Jones, Shelby Marsh, Alexandria Twigg and Brittany Stevenson volunteered at the awards ceremony.

Former Sarasota County Commisioner Shannon Staub and Riverview High School Senior Jon Sams were the masters of ceremony.
Debbie Lister, Senior Vice President of Partner Engagement at America's Promise Alliance, presents Karen Bogues, director of Community Youth Development of Sarasota County, with the award.
Sarasota County is officially on the map as one of America's 100 Best Communities for Young People.
