Fatal crash causes delays on State Road 70

A fatal vehicle accident on State Road 70,  east of Lorraine Road, has blocked traffic and is causing delays.

The Florida Highway Patrol has issued a traffic advisory stating both eastbound and westbound S.R. 70 is blocked.

Eastbound traffic is being diverted to Lorraine Road, where motorists can travel north to State Road 64, while westbound traffic is being diverted onto County Road 675, where motorist can travel north to S.R. 64, as well.

Motorists should expect delays and are being asked to avoid the area if possible.

The accident has resulted in one confirmed fatality.
