Napier’s Log Cabin Horse & Animal Sanctuary recently took in 47 dogs from a breeder and now is seeking financial help for their care.

The sanctuary is asking for donations of dry and canned food, particularly Retriever brand from Tractor Supply or Old Roy from Walmart, which can be dropped off at the sanctuary: 20010 S.R. 64 E.; Tractor Supply, 4404 S.R. 64 E.; Sherrie’s Furniture & Appliances, 4423 15th St. E.; Ruff Cuts, 502 36th St. W.; and Bradenton Small Animal Hospital, 1324 17th Ave. W.

The dogs Napier’s recently rescued include cockapoos, schnoodles, Schnauzers, poodles and other breeds. The breeder had knee and shoulder injuries and could not care for the animals properly.
