The Rev. Edward Pick, pastor emeritus of St. Mary, Star of the Sea, Catholic Church, celebrated his birthday Feb. 21. It was a quiet event, he said and, no, he wouldn’t reveal his age. On April 11, the congregation will honor Pick at a reception marking his 50th year in the priesthood.
