PRECO holds district meeting

East County residents who are part of the Peace River Electric Cooperative are encouraged to attend the company’s annual District 6 business meeting at 7 p.m., Feb. 9, at Woodland Community Church, 9607 S.R. 70 E., Bradenton.

At the conclusion of the business meeting, there will be refreshments and a drawing for door prizes.

Additionally, from 6-7 p.m., polls will open so District 6 members can vote on a representative to the cooperative’s board of directors. David Sessions has accepted a nomination.

All registered members will receive a $10 credit on their electric bill. Attendees are asked to bring a form of identification, to verify their voting eligibility at the time of registration.
