+ Faith Life moves forward with plans
Missouri-based Faith Life Church officially has submitted construction plans to Manatee County’s land development department, paving the way for a remodeling of the former Teleflex building in Lakewood Ranch Corporate Park.
Church officials were traveling and unavailable for comment, church staff said.
Unapproved construction drawings show the church is expected to accommodate 2,500 seats and is adding both on and offsite parking to bring total parking spaces from an existing 223 to about 835, including valet and handicap spaces.
No permits for construction have yet been submitted.
Faith Life Church purchased the property at 6980 Professional Parkway East on Sept. 29. The church’s website, www.moorelife.org, now has a link for Faith Life Church — Sarasota, Fla, but the site only says “FLC is coming to Sarasota, FL!”
