SCS outlasts Braden River

The Sarasota Christian volleyball team held on to beat Braden River 3-2 in non-district action Sept. 3. 

The Lady Blazers won the first set 25-22 before splitting the next four sets 21-25, 25-20, 21-25, 15-10). 

Anikka Jensen finished with 15 kills, one ace and three blocks to power Sarasota Christian. Cheyenne Miller added 11 kills and two aces. McKenzie Lantz added nine kills and three aces. 

Sarasota Christian returns to action Sept. 8 at Keswick Christian.
