The Sarasota High volleyball team beat Palmetto 25-11, 25-11, 25-12 in its district opener Sept. 8.
Hannah Hritz finished with 15 kills, 7 digs, four blocks and three aces to lead the way for the Lady Sailors. Anna Massey added five kills, three aces and 10 assists. Jessica Shiffner contributed four kills, 11 digs and an ace.
Sarasota returns to action Sept. 10 when it plays host to district rival Lakewood Ranch.
