1 — Sarasota Military Academy senior Jake Walker, who finished as the Class 1A state runner-up at 170 pounds, recently signed a wrestling scholarship with Ohio University. 

2 — Sarasota 170-pounder Jarred Hardinger will attend Chadron State College, in Nebraska, on a wrestling scholarship after finishing second in the state in Class 3A. 

3 — Riverview running back Ali Boyce rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown in the Rams’ 34-26 spring game victory against North Fort Myers May 26. 

4 — New Riverview quarterback Mike Welcer rushed for a pair of scores and also threw a touchdown pass in his debut with the Rams May 26. 

5 — Quarterback Arthur Brantley accounted for all three of Booker’s touchdowns, including two on the ground and one through the air, in the Tornadoes’ 27-24 spring game loss to Lakewood Ranch May 27.
