'Escape Plan'
Two Popcorns

Genre: Action/Adventure, Suspense/ThrillerCast: Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, James Caviezel, Vincent D'Onofrio, Vinnie Jones
Director: Mikael Hafstrom
Rating: R

Comment: Even two Hollywood icons like Stallone and Schwarzenegger can't cover for a implausible story line and weak script.

'Carrie'
Three Popcorns

Genre: Horror
Cast: Chloe Grace Moretz, Julianne Moore, Gabriella Wilde, Portia Doubleday, Ansel Elgort
Director: Kimberly Peirce
Rating: R

Comment: Kind of a fun flick as we near Halloween. Manageable horror for the weak stomach crowd and a very timely story about high school bully issues. Retribution can be hell, so don't mess with Carrie!

'The Fifth Estate'
Three Popcorns

Genre: Drama
Cast: Benedict Cumberbatch, Daniel Bruhl, Laura Linney, Anthony Mackie, David Thewlis
Director: Bill Condon
Rating: R

Comment: An interesting "Docudrama" illustrating how WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, the government and the Guardian British paper handled the most critical security leaks in U.S. history. The term "Fifth Column" refers to the new technological information age eclipsing the traditional "Fourth Column" traditional media. A good movie for politically and First Amendment Rights issues interested people.
