Fashion Insider: Fruit Prints

Try on these sweet options for your summer wardrobe.
by: Kayleigh Omang Contributor

Let’s have our fruit and wear it, too.

We know floral prints will never go out of style, but this season we have been seeing a new kind of print: fruits.

In Sarasota, we are accustomed to everything citrus – our streets are even named after them. Pineapples have been at the forefront of the fruit print scene, with cherries, lemons, peaches and strawberries making an appearance as well. All deliciously delectable, the clothes and fashions get a little tastier with the addition of a mango or watermelon, too.

Here’s some of our top picks for locally sourced fruit clothing and accessories to finish off your summer style on a sweet note.

Shiraleah Chicago, Valentina Tote, $27 at Ana Molinari LWR
Spartina 499 necklace, $39 at Wish on Main
Lauren Moshi kids pull over, $76 at Lotus
London Time dress, $78 at Panache
