All three area teams were victorious this week.

Lakewood Ranch (2-0) defeated Bayshore High (0-3) 16-6 at home.

Braden River High (1-2) defeated Manatee High (0-3) 26-14 at home. Junior quarterback Shawqi Itraish threw for 208 yards and two touchdowns. Senior wide receiver Robbie Goecker had 125 receiving yards and a touchdown. Pirates junior cornerback Gregory Cotton added an interception return touchdown.

The Out-of-Door Academy (3-0) defeated Osceola High (1-2) 28-21.
