The Bill Brian Foundation held its first fundraiser, 'A Heroes Luncheon' Monday, Aug. 25, at the Sarasota Yacht Club. The Brian Bill Foundation, named after Chief Petty Officer (SEAL) Brian Robert Bill, is a nonprofit dedicated to helping Navy SEAL families and survivors with a retreat and resource house. Guest speaker Jessica Buchanan, author of 'Impossible Odds,' shared the story of her kidnapping in Somalia and the rescue by SEAL Team Six.
