Trophies and bragging rights were on the line Dec. 4, as dozens of little leaguers hit the diamond in the Cal Ripken Little League Baseball Championships.
Champions were crowned in the Rookie, Minor and Major Divisions. In the Rookie Division, the Yankees defeated the Brewers 19-2 to cap off an undefeated season. The Red Sox defeated the Dodgers 9-6 in extra innings to capture the Minors Division championship. In the Majors Division, the Rays beat the Rangers 14-6.
