Blast of good news

Connie and Joe Ellison recently returned from a five-week cruise that started in Alaska and ended in Hong Kong and had a blast of good news to share. Their son, Bruce Ellison, will wed Karen Kohn, from Boston, Dec. 20. The couple met on the beach on Longboat Key about a year-and-a-half ago and discovered not only each other, but that her folks live directly above his folks at Fairway Bay. Kohn is a computer expert, a porcelain-doll maker and a singer; she will relocate to Rapid City, S.D., where her husband-to-be practices law. Connie Ellison also happily reports that her grandson and his wife are expecting twins in April, and that a granddaughter has a new man in her life.
