PHOTO GALLERY: A Mighty Light Flight

It's the manmade meets the natural at 'A Mighty Light Flight' exhibit at Longboat Key Center for the Arts, a Division of Ringling College of Art and Design. The exhibit opened July 10, but the opening party was on Friday, Sept. 21. Both of the artists work featured in the Durante Gallery are Ringling College of Art + Design alumni. Dustin Juengel's work featured snakes, gators and other Florida native animals, unfamiliar to Germany from where the artist stems. Mark Humphrey's sculptures are steel forms. These two men curated the work from Ringling College and New Colelge Students featured in the Cultural Media Room.
