During World War II the monuments men and women, were the group of people that rescued and recovered the artwork Hitler and the Nazis pillaged. Author Robert Edsel told their story in his book 'Monuments Men.' The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee presented the author Monday, March 10 at Riverview High School to speak about his work as part of their People of the Book series.
