The Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key's Gourmet Lawn Party on Saturday, Nov. 19 benefitting St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital as well as local children had a huge turn-out, and provided an even better guest experience than last years. Last year, the event brought in 650 people and this year, there was a minimum of 1,005 attendees. The Kiwanis Club has never sold more than 350 tickets, but sold a record-breaking 400 this year.
