The annual holiday luncheon not only allows the ladies of L'Ambiance to get together and celebrate the holiday season, but it is also a time for the women to give back to the community. This year the group collected sweatshirts and hoodies for the guardian ad litem program.

The public attended an artist's reception on Friday Oct. 26 at the New Deal Gallery inside the Federal Building. Local artists Dr. Mary-Louise Biasotti Hooper, Jill Hastings - Ellis and Linda Larisch displayed their work for the public to see. The Federal Building gets a new exhibit of paintings from local artists every three months.

The Glasser/Schoenbaum Human Services Center welcomed its new Executive Director, Jay Berman, with a Meet and Greet Wednesday, March 5. Members of the community were invited to get to know Berman over drinks and hors d'oeuvres at the Human Services Center. Berman assumed responsibilities this January and is replacing longtime Executive Director Phillip King.
