Children learned about Sarasota K-9 Search and Rescue Wednesday, July 10, at Selby Public Library as part of the summer children's programs. Team Leader of Sarasota K-9 Search & Rescue and co-founder of the organization Pat Abrams brought in her 3-year old search and rescue German shepherd Ana and a 17-week old pup in training Kaleb. Abrams also read a book from her series 'Noah and the Search Dogs.' Children learned what these heroic dogs do and fed them treats. They also made a dog yarn craft.
