Heritage Harbour event lets children feast on pancakes, Santa
It was written all over the face of 5-year-old Sara Brantley.
The green Christmas tree with purple and blue ornaments on her cheek let everyone know just how much she was loving the annual Breakfast with Santa event at Stoneybrook in Heritage Harbour.
Brantley was just one of the many people who came to the community's recreation center for a feast of pancakes, provided by the Country Pancake House, crafts, games, caroling, face painting and, of course, photos with Santa.
Brantley and other neighborhood children waited patiently for their visits with Mr. and Mrs. Claus and the photos of them they were able to take home.
“I asked for a cat watch,” Brantley said. “When you push on it, it tells the time.”
