The Early Care Center at First Church invites families for reunion.
It was a round-up of sorts for the western-themed 25th anniversary of the Early Care Center at First Church Saturday evening.
Families with children who have attended over the years were welcomed back for a reunion to celebrate the success of the Early Care Center and to mingle with former classmates. Every five years the Early Care Center hosts a reunion for former alumni. The event brings back memories for Director Susan Loncaric, who everyone calls Miss Sue. She's been working with the program since 1991.
"It's a chance for friends, family to get back together," Loncaric said. "I keep track of them all on Facebook."
The event included dancing, western caricatures, a photo booth and bails of hay for decoration. Guests dined on a menu fit for cowboys with brisket, chicken, smoked macaroni and cheese, baked beans and potato salad. For dessert there was a S'mores station.
