Circus Sarasota held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to showcase the completion of the newly renovated administrative offices Wednesday, Sept. 19. The renovations were made possible by a $75,000 grant from the William G. and Marie Selby Foundation. Jim Tollerton, owner and president of Professional Benefits in Sarasota, received the Clyde Nixon Business Leadership Award, and USF Sarasota-Manatee received the John J. Cox Community Partner of the Year Award. Guests also enjoyed a speech from Dale Brill, president of the Florida Chamber Foundation, who spoke of the changing nature of Florida's economy and what business must do to adapt.
