A Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce executive has received a top honor from the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals. Chamber Vice President Ed Hill recently won the organization’s Professional of the Year Award, which recognizes chamber professionals across the state for their leadership, dedication and lasting impact on their organizations and communities.

Hill was one of two such winners in this year’s voting, finishing in a tie among judges’ scoring with Ardath Prendergast of the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce.

With more than 16 years of service to the chamber industry, Hill has helped shape programs and initiatives that support businesses and strengthen regional connections.

“We are incredibly proud to see Ed recognized with this well-deserved honor,” said Sarasota Chamber President and CEO Heather Kasten in a news release. “His dedication to our members, our organization and the chamber profession is unmatched. Ed’s leadership and heart for this community make a lasting impact every single day.”
