Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport has named a new senior member to its leadership team. With more than a decade of experience in aviation finance and a record of strategic financial leadership, Kevin Podsiad has joined the airport as executive vice president, chief financial officer.

Before joining SRQ, Podsiad worked for 10 years at Tampa International Airport, most recently as director of financial planning and reporting. In that capacity, he was responsible for overseeing key financial functions, including financial reporting, debt-service management, investment strategy, payroll and financial planning.
A certified public accountant, Podsiad also holds the Certified Member designation from the American Association of Airport Executives. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of South Florida and a master of accounting from Saint Leo University.
Podsiad's appointment comes weeks before the scheduled retirement of SRQ President and CEO Rick Piccolo, whose replacement has yet to be named by the Sarasota-Manatee Airport Authority.
Piccolo plans to remain with the airport in an advisory capacity through the end of the year.
