Lake Club manager named tops in her field

Samara Williamson, general manager at The Lake Club in Lakewood Ranch, was named Community Manager of the Year at the Lakewood Ranch Community Appreciation Awards, held last month at The Grove.

Williamson has been at The Lake Club for more than four years, moving to her position from that of assistant general manager in 2023.

The Lake Club offers a clubhouse with banquet room, indoor/outdoor bar, restaurant, a billiards room, spa, yoga room, and lifestyle center, as well as parks, trails, a tennis center, and a basketball court. The gated community has about 700 homes. It is managed by a division of the Troon Co.

“Thank you to my incredible team at The Lake Club, our board, our residents, and Troon for the support that makes everything we do possible,” said Williamson. “I am grateful to work with people who help us serve our community at the highest level.

Lakewood Ranch Community Activities presented the award.
