At $3.9 million, Hornblower Lane home is Longboat's top seller

A home in Country Club Shores tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Keith and Carole Wennik, of Longboat Key, sold their home at 549 Hornblower Lane to Thomas Richard Gear and Susan Spindel Gear, of Mason, Ohio, for $3,926,000. Built in 2007, it has five bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,839 square feet of living area. It sold for $1.4 million in 2017.

The Water Club at Longboat Key

Jack and Margo Simmons, of Falmouth, Maine, sold their Unit 302 condominium at 1281 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Daniel and Jilinda Hinrichs, of Leawood, Kansas, for $3,545,000. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and 3,435 square feet of living area. It sold for $1,528,800 in 1999.

Lido

David and Laureen Hadley sold their home at 1332 Westway Drive to Michael and Catherine Farello, of Greenwich, Connecticut, for $3.25 million. Built in 1959, it has three bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,419 square feet of living area. It sold for $3 million in January.

Kevin McDermott, trustee, of Springfield, Illinois, sold the home at 593 Juan Anasco Drive to Carolynn and Stephen Kranz, of Longboat Key, for $2.5 million. Built in 2002, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,882 square feet of living area. It sold for $1,899,000 in 2017.

Sanctuary at Longboat Key Club

Christopher and Pamela Ontiveros, of Longboat Key, sold their Unit A-303 condominium at 545 Sanctuary Drive to Joseph and Jennifer Packee, of Delafield, Wisconsin, for $2.2 million. Built in 1991, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,375 square feet of living area. It sold for $840,000 in 2014.

Snowbird or Bust LLC sold the home at 365 N. Washington Drive to Michael and Lisa Stanley, of Edina, Minnesota, for $2,162,000. Built in 2000, it has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,374 square feet of living area. It sold for $1.1 million in 2019.

J.F. Real Estate Properties Inc. sold the home at 460 N. Washington Drive to 540 N. Washington Associates LLC for $1,687,500. Built in 1988, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,096 square feet of living area. It sold for $2.1 million in 2015.

Lois Davidson, trustee, of Washington, D.C., sold the Unit 1003 condominium at 1211 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Hatton Family Holdings LLC for $1.95 million. Built in 1985, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,612 square feet of living area. It sold for $795,000 in 2012.

Rebecca Roth, trustee, of Richmond, Virginia, sold the Unit B-202 condominium at 415 L’Ambiance Drive to Kenneth Alan Goldblatt and Sarah Roth Goldblatt, of Sands Point, New York, for $1.9 million. Built in 1992, it has two bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,385 square feet of living area. It sold for $787,500 in 2004.

Urs Zuppiger, of Zurich, Switzerland, sold his Unit 204 condominium at 1045 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Hartley Hershenhorn and Nita Wexler, of Ontario, Canada, for $1.45 million. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,503 square feet of living area. It sold for $800,000 in 2013.
