Make-A-Wish Southern Florida supporters turned Michael's On East into an interactive cooking demonstration during the annual "Cooking For Wishes" event on Feb. 22.

The annual event raises funds to provide wishes to Make-A-Wish children with critical illnesses.. Guests arrived ready to mingle and work together to cook up a variety of dishes to enjoy.

Chef Jamil Pineda and Phil Mancini walked guests through the meals consisting of caldo de marisco con Saffron seafood, casarecce pasta, poulet roti provencal and a dessert of chocolate truffles and raspberry mousse.

Guests later heard from Make-A-Wish recipient Lianne Millikan, who was able to visit Hawaii with her family for her wish.
