Ringling College Library Association supporters enjoyed an evening of appreciation at the Sarasota Opera House on Dec. 7.

The Platinum Appreciation event brought hundreds of RCLA platinum subscription ticket holders together to hear from a notable figure — environmental activist Erin Brockovich.

Brockovich met with close RCLA supporters during a sponsor reception before delivering a 40 minute presentation to the assembled audience.

The RCLA's upcoming 2023 Town Hall lecture series starts with an appearance from Nobel Prize winner Maria Ressa on Jan. 17.
