Lakewood Ranch 2-year-old Az Fortune put the soccer ball down, took a step back and kicked it toward the net.

He watched the ball as it made its way into the corner of the net, then flashed a huge smile at his first goal.

His nanny, Lakewood Ranch's Fran Rochelle, loved watching Az participating in Lakewood Ranch Community Activity's Peewee Soccer event Sept. 1 at Greenbrook Adventure Park.

"I'm glad he gets to mingle with kids his own age," Rochelle said.

The next Peewee Soccer event is 11 a.m. Oct. 6 at Greenbrook Adventure Park.
