Two-condo sale in the Casa de la Playa building is week's top real estate deal

Sale of a pair of condos on Siesta Key tops transactions for Sarasota and surrounding areas in the week of Oct. 11-15.

A two-condominium sale in Casa De La Playa tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. WTEM 445 LLC sold the Units A and B condominiums at 445 Beach Road to Siesta 5 Investment Holding LLC for $2,975,000. Both condominiums were built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,056 square feet of living area. They sold for $1.95 million in 2017.

SARASOTA

Oyster Bay Estates

Peter Smith and Carla Plush Smith, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1815 N. Lake Shore Drive to James Rutledge, trustee, of Sarasota, for $2.2 million. Built in 2014, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,439 square feet of living area.

Paradise Shores

Craig Kaplan and Stephen Sigler, of Sarasota, sold their home at 2120 Oriole Drive to Steven Franklin Salley and Linda Salley, of Sarasota, for $1.3 million. Built in 1961, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,825 square feet of living area. It sold for $649,000 in 2015.

Harbor House South

Nicholas and Danielle Gladding, of Sarasota, sold their Units 51 and 52 condominiums at 400 Golden Gate Point to Danny Beer and Jane Kennedy, for $2.45 million. Built in 1965, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,700 square feet of living area. It sold for $1.33 million in 2019.

PALMER RANCH

Silver Oak

Virginia and Werner Schuele, trustees, sold the home at 8975 Bloomfield Blvd. to John and Deborah Labriola, of Fairfax Station, Virginia, for $1.3 million. Built in 2003, it has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,895 square feet of living area.

OSPREY

Oaks II

Robert McKillop, of Osprey, sold his home at 923 Blue Heron Overlook to Robert McBride and Carol Mulholland McBride, of Waccabuc, New York, for $1.8 million. Built in 2001, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,162 square feet of living area.

NOKOMIS

Calusa Lakes

Dani Pederson, of Nokomis, sold her home at 2300 Bald Eagle Lane to James and Linda Davey, of Nokomis, for $850,000. Built in 2000, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,077 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $513,000 in 2020.

 

Phillippi Shores

Lindsay Schwager, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the home at 5136 Admiral Place to Nancy Munson, trustee, of Sarasota, for $1,189,000. Built in 1998, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,899 square feet of living area. It   sold for $64,000 in 1996.

Monticello

David Chapman, Personal Representative, Megan Chapman and Jessica Lindsey Chapman, of Sarasota, sold the home at 2112 Montclair Drive to Castleco LLC for $950,000. Built in 1960, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,811 square feet of living area. It   sold for $68,000 in 1984.

Rivo at Ringling

Daniele Baroni and Mirjana Lucic, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 1101 condominium at 1771 Ringling Blvd. to Michael Lewis Gotthainer and Khaled Hassan Ibrahim, of Saconnex, Switzerland, for $950,000. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,808 square feet of living area. It sold for $551,200 in 2006.

Carmen Brace, Personal Representative, of Chicago, Aaron Andrews, of Aurora, Illinois, Brandon Payne, of Belleville, Illinois, Courtney Williams, of Homewood, Illinois, Eric Payne, of Park Forest, Illinois, and Robert Payne, of Matteson, Illinois, sold the Unit 1515 condominium at 988 Blvd. of the Arts to L. Peter Parcher, trustee, of Sarasota, for $870,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,555 square feet of living area. It sold for $327,000 in 2011.

Mickel Dennis, of Lorton, Virginia, sold his Unit 911 condominium at 800 N. Tamiami Trail to Jack and Kim Levier, of Bellevue, Washington, for $750,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,323 square feet of living area. It sold for $485,000 in 2007.

John Arthur Fowler Jr., John Arthur Fowler III and Kim Fowler Conner, of Sarasota, sold their home at 2616 Terry Lane to Siesta 6 Investment Holding LLC for $715,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, four baths and 4,584 square feet of living area.

Eagles Point at the Landings

Jamie Warren, trustee, sold the Unit 301 condominium at 5440 Eagles Point Circle to Cristian Gutierrez and Edna Goldstein, of Moorestown, New Jersey, for $687,000. Built in 1996, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,936 square feet of living area. It sold for $353,000 in 1996.

Pine Shores Estates

6425 Hollywood LLC sold the home at 6425 Hollywood Blvd. to John Adam Colton, of Sarasota, for $620,000. Built in 1973, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,870 square feet of living area. It sold for $143,000 in 1999.

Esplanade by Siesta Key

Faye and John Doyle, trustees, of Sarasota, sold the home at 5806 Cavano Drive to Strategic Aircargo Initiatives Corp. for $605,000. Built in 2014, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,639 square feet of living area. It sold for $450,000 in 2020.

South Gate

David Wright, of Nokomis, sold the home at 2708 Wisteria Place to Richard Sam Webb and Disha Vijay Webb, of Sarasota, for $535,000. Built in 1957, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,155 square feet of living area. It sold for $365,000 in 2015.

Darren and Rachel Saltzberg, of Sarasota, sold their home at 2436 Parson Lane to Gina Gladys Pollok, of Sarasota, for $525,000. Built in 2014, it has four bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,012 square feet of living area. It sold for $300,000 in 2014.

Brian Mick, of Sarasota, sold the home at 2180 Orchid St. to Matthew Quattro, of Sarasota, for $454,000. Built in 1961, it has three bedrooms, one-and-a-half baths and 1,419 square feet of living area. It sold for $360,000 in March.

Diane Stephenson Lincove, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 15 condominium at 4846 Kestral Park Circle to Richard Bacchiocchi and Donna Nightingale, of Hyannis, Massachusetts, for $485,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,770 square feet of living area. It   sold for $379,500 in 2014.

William Reese Monfort Jr., of Bradenton, sold his home at 2400 Alameda Ave. to Andrew Jones and Julia Campbell, of Sarasota, for $475,000. Built in 1960, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,024 square feet of living area. It   sold for $167,500 in 2011.

Avonelle Edwards, of Ontario, Canada, sold her home at 6841 Roxbury Drive to Suzanne Dines, of Quincy, Massachusetts, for $451,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,249 square feet of living area. It   sold for $349,900 in 2020.

Mona Doss, of Sarasota, sold her home at 2339 Cass St. to John and Michelle Cary, of Sarasota, for $420,000. Built in 1974, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,828 square feet of living area. It   sold for $200,000 in 2018.

Joanne Foody, of Sarasota, sold her home at 5303 Hidden Harbor Road to Scott Emery and Diane Pompei Emery, of Sarasota, for $2.75 million. Built in 1971, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 3,201 square feet of living area. It   sold for $900,000 in 2020.

Sarasota Beach

Thomas and Dara Miles, of Greenwich, Connecticut, sold their home at 270 Island Circle to Kevin Wells, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, for $2.25 million. Built in 2006, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,277 square feet of living area. It   sold for $1.09 million in 2008.

Sandra Gordon, of Sarasota, sold her home at 446 Avenida De Mayo to Checkmark Properties LLC for $545,000. Built in 1946, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 785 square feet of living area.

Siesta’s Bayside

Janet and Kenneth Zuerblis, of Long Valley, New Jersey, sold their home at 738 Siesta Key Circle to Brian Hurley, of Lititz, Pennsylvania, for $1.8 million. Built in 1974, it has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,397 square feet of living area. It   sold for $900,000 in 2009.

Roberts Point

Wayne Johnson and Betty Curry Johnson, of Sarasota, sold their home at 4185 Roberts Point Circle to TDI Homes LLC for $1.65 million. Built in 1970, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,844 square feet of living area. It   sold for $400,000 in 2002.

La Siesta

901 Beach Road #401 LLC sold the Unit 401 condominium at 901 Beach Road to Lynette and Ray Huber, of Sarasota, for $750,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 940 square feet of living area. It   sold for $388,000 in 2015.

Tivoli by the Sea

Jeanette Dinkins, trustee, of Ocala, sold the Unit 501 condominium at 625 Beach Road to Nick Menard Devito, of Sarasota, for $700,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,144 square feet of living area. It   sold for $600,000 in 2014.

Bay Tree Club

Gregory Michael Stipp and Sherry Ann Stipp, of Centerville, Ohio, sold their Unit 407 condominium at 8630 Midnight Pass Road to Rene and Meylin Sueiro, of Sarasota, for $625,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,115 square feet of living area. It   sold for $535,000 in March.

Joanne Thomas, of Essex, United Kingdom, sold her Unit B-41 condominium at 6157 Midnight Pass Road to Joseph Corlett, of Sarasota, for $425,000. Built in 1974, it has one bedroom, two baths and 746 square feet of living area. It   sold for $185,000 in 2013.

John Orestis, of Freeport, Maine, sold his home at 12628 Promenade Estates Blvd. to Shaun and Theresa Boros, Anthony Michael Trevino and Melissa Anne King, of Sarasota, for $560,000. Lynn Patricia Dapello, of Sarasota, sold her home at 12629 Promenade Estates Blvd. to Yanitz and Irin Rubin, trustees, of Sarasota, for $550,000. Built in 2020, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,045 square feet of living area. It   sold for $405,300 in 2020.

Young Kim and Eun Sook Kim, of Sarasota, sold their home at 5125 Flagstone Drive to Bradley Pate, of Tampa, for $500,000. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,052 square feet of living area. It   sold for $218,600 in 1999.

Charles and Diane Kenny, of Sarasota, sold their home at 5793 Ivrea Drive to Shari Moss, of Atlanta, for $415,000. Built in 2002, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,693 square feet of living area. It   sold for $240,000 in 2014.

Daniel and Nancy Esch sold their Uni t804 condominium at 409 N. Point Road to Deborah Ann Taylor and Susan Sloan, of Osprey, for $1,075,000. Built in 2004, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,778 square feet of living area. It   sold for $802,000 in 2016.
