Bay Isles home top seller for the week at $5.23 million

A home in Bay Isles tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Janis Cohen, of Sarasota, sold her home at 500 Harbor Point Road to Darren Ross Edwards and Linda Edwards, of Longboat Key, for $5,237,500. Built in 2008, it has four bedrooms, four-and-two-half baths, a pool and 6,556 square feet of living area.

The Water Club at Longboat Key

Kathe Roberts, trustee, of Montclair, New Jersey, sold the Unit 902 condominium at 1281 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Charles Alex Ratner and Ilana Horowitz Ratner, of Shaker Heights, Ohio, for $3.81 million. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and 3,435 square feet of living area. It sold for $2 million in 1999.

Sleepy Lagoon Park

Michael Reichert, of Longboat Key, sold his home at 582 Juan Anasco Drive to Markus and Lois Waite, of Tampa, for $825,000. Built in 1955, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,504 square feet of living area. It sold for $435,000 in 2018.

Islander Club of Longboat

Emilia Kiss, trustee, and Alexander Kiss, of Longboat Key, sold the Unit 34-S condominium at 2295 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Ingrid Seals, of Longboat Key, for $785,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,235 square feet of living area. It sold for $84,700 in 2001.

The Alicea Group LLC sold the Unit M2-111-G condominium at 1945 Gulf of Mexico Drive to John and Dawn Grebe, of Wheaton, Illinois, for $750,000. Built in 1978, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,076 square feet of living area. It sold for $445,000 in 2013.

Richard and Patricia Herring, of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, sold their Unit G8-204-C condominium at 1925 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Heather Nicole Blas and Francisco Blas, of Denver, North Carolina, for $525,000. Built in 1978, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 933 square feet of living area. It sold for $305,000 in 2009.

Geoffrey Boyer, trustee, of Dexter, Michigan, sold the Unit 152 condominium at 1930 Harbourside Drive to Lois Freedman, of Medford, New Jersey, for $535,100. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,192 square feet of living area. It sold for $185,000 in 1990.

Jacqueline Hilicher, of Minnetonka, Minnesota, sold her Unit H-1 condominium at 4234 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Michael and Cynthia Seamon, of Longboat Key, for $450,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,150 square feet of living area. It sold for $385,000 in 2019.

Steven and Elizabeth Bussanich, of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, sold their Unit 345 condominium at 5841 Gulf of Mexico Drive to James and Katherine Anne Bailey and Exeter 21517 WY LLC for $450,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 760 square feet of living area. It sold for $400,000 in 2016.
